Privacy notice
Controller: DIGITAL MEDIA LIMITED. This notice describes blogafif.com. It is written for readers in the United Kingdom and it is not legal advice.
Who we are
The controller for this website is DIGITAL MEDIA LIMITED, company number 02995944, registered office 24 Burgh Street, London N1 8HG, United Kingdom. The site is published under the name Blogafif.
Contact for privacy requests: info@blogafif.com. Reader support: support@blogafif.com. Advertising and billing: billing@blogafif.com.
What these pages do
The site is a static advertorial. There is no account, no basket, no comment form and no newsletter signup. You can read the article and the legal pages without giving us your name.
Fonts and pictures are files on this same site. The pages do not load Google Fonts, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, social embeds or other third-party content.
Cookies and similar storage
These pages do not set cookies and do not use local storage or session storage. Because there is no optional tracking cookie, the site does not show a consent banner. If that ever changes, this notice will change first, and any non-essential cookie will wait for a choice.
Server logs
If a hosting provider serves these files, that host may keep ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, date and time, browser type and the address of the page requested. Where that happens, the purpose is to keep the site secure and available, and to diagnose faults. The legal basis is legitimate interests. Logs of that kind are not used to build a marketing profile. Retention follows the host’s operational practice and should be no longer than needed for security. This static publication does not add its own analytics on top of those logs.
If you email info@blogafif.com, support@blogafif.com or billing@blogafif.com, DIGITAL MEDIA LIMITED receives the message, including your address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of advertising or billing correspondence where we need one. The legal basis is steps you ask us to take, or legitimate interests in running the publication. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us. We keep enquiry mail only as long as we need it to handle the matter and to meet any record we are obliged to hold.
The offer link
The article has one link to an Amazon UK product listing. If you choose to follow it, you leave blogafif.com and Amazon becomes responsible for what happens on its own site, under Amazon’s privacy notice. The link includes a partner parameter so a purchase may be attributed to Blogafif. Blogafif does not receive your card details through that click. We do not operate the checkout.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information.
Where processing happens
We do not sell personal information. Email you send us is handled so we can reply. A hosting provider may process connection logs on our behalf, including on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where that transfer needs a safeguard, it should be an appropriate UK transfer tool, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Amazon’s own processing, after you leave this site, is Amazon’s.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict personal information we hold, to object to certain processing, and to data portability where it applies. You can also complain to a supervisory authority.
The UK supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put something right first. Write to info@blogafif.com.
Changes
If the site starts using cookies, analytics, or a new recipient of personal information, this notice will be updated.
